These are a few of my favorite (sic) things

I was browsing through my favorites (sic) and came across a few gems. Here's one that I can go to again and again.
Punk Rock Kittens

MMM Yummy...Chilli Gravy

Here's a lovely recipe to add a bit of spice to bangers and mash.
You'll need:
1/2 Onion
1/2 Red Pepper
1 large red chilli pepper
1 OXO cube
1/3 Pint Boiling Water
2 splashes Olive Oil

Slice the onion, pepper, and chile, and fry them with the olive oil in a small pan. After about 5 mins they should be getting tender, then add a sprinkle of sugar. Next mix the boiling water and OXO in a mug, and add to the pan. Simmer on a high heat till it reduces slightly, and then use as a spicy gravy on bangers and mash.

I just had this today for dinner....Bootiful (In a Bernard Mathews Stylee)

Just do what comes naturally

Does anyone ever get that feeling to stop watching Telly, go outside to that mess you call a garden, pick up some tools, and put in some hard work so that even Alan Titchmarsh would be pround of you?
Well about a month ago I moved back home and set myself a task of doing exactly that. It didn't happen an Mr. Television became King of me.
OK, so half my garden is in a pretty good state, but then the other half is, well, not in a good state. A few years ago I dug it all up, put down a layer of this magic material that should keep weeds from every growing again, and covered it in pebbles and shingle, and thought "the job's a good'un, I'll never have to do that again, goodbye weeds". Well that magic stuff wasn't magic at all and now I'm left with an area covered in shingle, weeds and crap lining material, and I've gotta clean it up.
Yesterday I came back from my travels and got in the garden. I thought I'd start with something small, so I have dug up, weeded, and generally kicked ass, and made my very own veggy patch at the bottom of the garden. (anyone remember that cartoon 'the herbs'?)
Hopefully the stuff will grow, but I've had to opt for planting seeds of the variety radish, lettuce, and carrot, as we are getting quite late in the summer and all the fun stuff is past there 'sow by date'.
So that's my effort of Hugh Fearnly-Whittingstall standards to get a bit of organic in my life. And now I have to crack on with the Ground Force part of the task and make the rest look 'shit-hot'.
I've got the tools, the motivation, and the skill, to make it happen. Keep posted to see how it develops. Hi ho, hi ho, it's of to work I go..........

New Photos

Hiya everyone.
I got a new phone last week, a nokia 7250i, with a camera. So whilst I've been on my jollies, I've been like a kid at Christmas, and have been snapping away.
Now I've just bought an infrared receiver to plug into my PC so I can transfer my photos onto the PC, and then.......ta da.....onto my blog.

So here's a lovely picture of my local pub in Ramsgate.

I went to Chichester and Bournemouth for a long weekend. I went paintballing with my old friends from Chichester on Friday (I've still got the bruises), and I stayed with my mate Sam (see below)and his missus Jo.

Then on Saturday I went to Bournemouth to see my old friend and ex-housemate Christine (see below), who I went to university with. It was cool to see her again and catch up on old times.

See, I really have been taking loads of pointless photos. Ah, technology nowadays.

WARNING: SPECCY POST

So anyway as I mentioned in the previous post I've now got broadband at home.  I signed up with Tiscali for £25 a month, and this gets me a speed of 512k and an always on status so I can download aas much as I want, whenever I want. I also got a USB Modem, an RJ11 cable, and 2 microfilters, so I was able to connect instantly without having to buy any new hardware.

Well, here's where we start having fun.  I downloaded a program (sorry about the american spelling) called BitTorrent which is a peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing protocol. Learn a bit more by clicking here.
Sorry we haven't had fun yet. OK, you may be wondering "what is adem babbling on about, he always does that", well it means that people can share files without going through a server which will be the only PC holding the file, instead you download segments from lots of diffent people, and when you are downloading it others can download from you the bit you've already downloaded, and this turns into a menagerie of file sharing, so when you are downloading, you are als ouploading too!

So I've already got the following gratis (that means free to you thickos) - Maromedia Dreamweaver MX 6.1, Macromedia Flash 5, Stephen Kings 'Kingdom Hospital, Little Britain 1st Series, School of Rock, plus some other games.
I didn't pay for them, I got 'em free.........brilliant

I warned you about the nerdy nature of this post.....sorry

End of Euro 2004

Well that's the end of the footy for the summer. Roll on the Premiership.
The squad of the Championships were announced today and there were 4 England players selected in the squad. Any guesses to who they were??
Well have a look at the my entry a couple of blogs below and you'll see I'd already selected Campbell, Cole, Lampard, and Rooney as my men of England. It seems that the men from the selection committee have been looking at this blog!
