Wikipedia is a resource I use quite a lot, especially on my blog when linking to information. For those of you who don't know what it is then click here, but basically it is an encylopedia which allows users to edit it's content so that it can be refined, constantly updated, and contantly extended.
Previously I've only ever used it as a resource and never actually contributed to it but last week I was a bit bored and saw a few places where I could add or ammend items. It appears I may be addicted! It's nice to be a part of something and to be able to make Wikipedia better.

In other news, what about this eh? I'm sure they'll appeal against it, but I don't think they'll get much sympathy apart from maybe getting their points reduction lowered. My question is that now Juve have been stripped of their titles will they be awarded to the highest position team not involved in the match-fixing, or will their shame simply go down in the record books?

Wikipedia is a great resource, but as always, facts need to be checked against a number of sources. (Teaching my gran to suck eggs, yes?) Some b*stards take it upon themselves to sabotage it for a laugh.

Wikipedia does indeed kick ass! People who vandalise it should have their genitals removed with a spoon.
It's really good to contribute but you do need to be totally up on your facts and preferably be able to cross reference it all.
I decided I ought to contribute but realised there wasn't much stuff that my knowledge was that good on. In the end I contributed to a few articles on obscure bits of invertebrate zoology (I still have my textbooks for cross-referencing purposes) and a few articles on the area where I grew up and the one where I now live.
