It doesn't feel any different does it? Except we're one year closer to getting fucked. It's a scary world out there and things like this Tseunami shit that's going on can only cast doubt on the future. I can't even comprehend it.
How did we cope? We dranks ourselves silly at New year to forget. How lucky we are that we can do that. Why not do something good for a change and donate to the Disasters Emergency Committee which is an umbrella group of UK charities including, among others, British Red Cross, Cafod, Oxfam, Save the Children, Tearfund.
It's quite heart warming to see the amount that the public has donated (I even gave £10 myself, what's that really? 4 pints?) but I do wonder why we don't give more often. It shows we have the money but sometimes can't be bothered. Click here for an interesting article on how much we give to charity.
